Alexandru Lache, our Account Executive, was at AWS Data & AI Day Bucharest yesterday.

A full day at NORD Events Center, with real teams from PPC Romania, Amber, Eazy Asigurari, and Deloitte on stage talking about what they actually built and how. Not slides about potential. Production systems, real timelines, real decisions.

The lineup covered a lot of ground: data pipelines built with natural language, a lakehouse running Apache Iceberg and SageMaker, an insurance product that went from idea to production in 48 hours with Amazon Bedrock, and yes, a game featuring Snoop Dogg from the Amber team (that one probably got the most questions).

If you work in data or AI and haven't been to one of these AWS community days, they're worth your time. The speakers are practitioners, the conversations in the hallway are just as useful as the sessions, and Bucharest keeps putting together a strong lineup.

Congratulations to Eduard Moroianu, Senior Business Analyst at mindit.io, on passing the CBAP exam and becoming an officially Certified Business Analysis Professional by IIBA.

The CBAP is the top-tier credential in business analysis. A small fraction of practitioners worldwide hold it. Eduard is now one of them.

What it took to get here: thousands of hours of documented BA experience, mastery across requirements engineering, stakeholder management, solution evaluation, and governance on complex enterprise projects, and passing one of the most demanding certification exams in the profession.
