🌍 Our first global CSR event is celebrated across all Gameloft studios today, 22nd of April!

🌳 20 colleagues from Gameloft Bucharest got together to celebrate Earth Day with an eco-volunteering action in the Văcărești Delta. Not even the rain stopped them!

🤝🏼 The second workshop in partnership with ECHO School was pure joy!

📝 40 teenagers learned about ‘𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞’, from our colleague, George Munteanu, Game Art Director Gameloft.

🎮 Echo School is the first university program in Romania that will prepare students for a career in the video game development industry. There are 3 programs: Game Design and Development, Game Engineering and Computer Arts and Animation.

🤝🏼 We partnered up with ECHO School for a series of workshops dedicated to high school students.

📝 The first one, 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲. It was held by our colleague Mihai Chirilă, Senior Game Designer, part of the Publishing Operations team.

💻 That’s why we donated 11 computers and monitors from the Bucharest studio to the Gameloft Learning Center at UPB.

🍲The wonderful people from O masă caldă told us that first time volunteers cry twice: once when they peel the onions and a second time when they personally deliver the food to the people in need.

🙏🏻 We can confirm the theory after today, when four of us traded their laptops for aprons.

📚 You may already know how much we enjoy being involved in the education field. Let us show you a project we are very proud of:

During this semester, 3rd year Digital Media students from FSPAC - Facultatea de Ştiinţe Politice, Administrative şi ale Comunicării, Cluj-Napoca came to our Cluj Studio every Friday.

🧑🏻‍💻 Our colleague, Calin Cretu, Level Designer at Gameloft Cluj, is teaching the gaming course at FSPAC. He is the one who proposed that the weekly meeting should take place right where games are created and the students really appreciated the initiative.

🎲 For the final exam they had to create a video game or board game from scratch. In the pictures you can see some of their creations.

💙 We couldn’t be prouder!
