Architecture, AI and a lot of good questions.

We recently brought the engineering community together for Architecture Guardrails & Observability, an evening focused on a key challenge:

How do we keep software architecture healthy when AI can generate code faster than teams can review it?

Together with Victor Rentea, Java Champion and one of Romania’s most respected software architecture trainers, we explored practical ways to keep large and evolving codebases understandable, consistent and maintainable.

From architecture guardrails and automated checks to AI-assisted code review and system visualisation, the discussion covered both the opportunities and the risks of AI-assisted engineering.

And, of course, there was plenty of time for questions, conversations and networking.

As Emilia shared:

“The idea that stuck with me most was tackling a problem developers always face - code review - especially now that PRs keep getting longer and you can feel the AI behind them.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a great exchange of ideas.

We’re excited to continue our series, where we spotlight our colleagues’ passion for technology and the perspectives that shape the way they work and create meaningful impact.

Today, we’re featuring Dorin Moldovan, Capability Manager, Engineering Methodologies | Quality Management, who shares what he values most about his role: bringing people, technology, and business needs together. He also reflects on the potential of AI to enhance human capabilities and open up new opportunities for growth and development.

“What I love most about my work is the opportunity to connect people, technology, and business needs in a meaningful way. As a Capability Manager, I find it rewarding to create an environment where people can grow professionally, perform at their best, and contribute to a healthy and sustainable business.

Technology, and particularly AI, makes this even more exciting, as it continuously creates new opportunities to learn and evolve. For me, the key is keeping people at the center: using technology to strengthen human expertise and judgment while helping both our people and the business grow together.

What I find particularly interesting is the opportunity to use AI to augment human capabilities rather than simply automate tasks. It can help people move faster, explore new ideas, and focus more of their energy on areas where expertise, creativity, and judgment really matter.”

Dorin’s perspective highlights how embracing new technologies and investing in people can go hand in hand. As AI continues to transform the way we work, its potential lies in helping us do more, while also creating space for human expertise, creativity, and judgment for a greater impact.

Stay tuned for more inspiring voices in our series as we continue to celebrate the people behind the technology and the perspectives that move us forward.

90+ colleagues. 1850+ km moved. 11 sports events. One connected community.

These are the fast facts behind the sports events our colleagues took part in this summer, bringing our communities together through movement, shared challenges, and plenty of time outdoors.

Over the past few months, our teams across the country joined running competitions, hikes, swimming and cycling challenges, obstacle races, and padel matches.

From the Sibiu Marathon to the extreme Spartan Race, from moving for a good cause at Swimathon Oradea and Crosul Supereroilor, to hiking in Fagaras Mountains and on Via Transilvanica, our colleagues took on challenges that pushed their physical and mental limits.

In total, 94 colleagues took part across 11 events, covering more than 1850 km. These activities build team spirit, strengthen bonds, and remind us that well-being is a shared journey. They are all part of our Equilibrium programme, which reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing a healthy work-life balance, fostering the power of community, and building a culture where our people feel supported, inspired, and connected.

Follow us to see where our communities head next.

Artificial Intelligence is changing the way financial interactions happen. As AI agents move from supporting decisions to initiating transactions, the conversation is shifting from what AI can do to what makes AI trustworthy.

During our Financial Services Industry Brew, part of Tech in Motion, our experts Oana Sarlea, Financial Services BizTech Consultant, and Ionut Miron, Security Engineer, explored how financial institutions can prepare for the next generation of AI-powered payments and the importance of building trusted technology foundations that go beyond authentication and payment authorisation.

Explore some moments from the conversations that brought these perspectives to life.

Over the past months, we have traveled across the country, connecting with colleagues in our local communities through a series of open talks, working sessions, and informal meetups.

These visits created space for colleagues to exchange ideas, share local perspectives, and strengthen the connections that help our communities thrive. Beyond the sessions themselves, they reminded us that innovation grows faster when people feel heard, connected, and part of something bigger.

While our Hybrid Communities bring colleagues together across locations, our Chapters complement these connections by providing our people ongoing support, expertise, resources, and knowledge-sharing opportunities that help individuals and communities thrive.

Follow us for more stories from our Chapters and Hybrid Communities as we continue building meaningful connections across our locations.

June was Children's Month at Accesa, and throughout the month we celebrated curiosity, connection, and the importance of creating meaningful moments together.

Our colleagues took part in a series of webinars, workshops, and family-friendly experiences designed to support parents, encourage quality time with their children, and reconnect with their inner child.

At Accesa, we believe that a people-first culture extends beyond the workplace. By creating spaces that support our colleagues in every stage of life, we continue to foster a community where wellbeing, learning, and belonging go hand in hand.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Children's Month so special.

Production planning shouldn't depend on one person's memory.

Over the past two months, we interviewed plant managers, operations leads, and production planners from Manufacturing companies across the DACH region to better understand their day-to-day challenges.

During those interviews, one theme kept coming up: production planning often depends on one experienced person. One manager told us about a planner who knew the next four weeks of production from memory. When he retired, the systems stayed. The spreadsheets stayed. But the planning logic left with him.

We explore why this is still a common planning risk across plants in the full article: https://www.accesa.eu/resources/when-the-senior-planner-is-out-who-holds-the-plan?utm_campaign=mmi_editorial_june_post_1&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=facebook_post&utm_content=1783598580
