Yesterday Microsoft went public with its new Microsoft Azure IoT Operations at . Azure IoT Operations allows clients to scale edge-to-cloud deployments with greater control, security and flexibility.

It is a core part of its adaptive cloud approach which integrates hybrid, multicloud, edge, and IoT environments to deliver secure, scalable operations in manufacturing.

MTEK Industry AB is collaborating with Microsoft to bring its Digital Production System, MBrain, (MES/MOM+) to clients in this framework.

Role: Deployment Engineer

What do you do at work?
In a nutshell, I support customers throughout their entire journey, from onboarding to ongoing assistance. My tasks include arranging training sessions, writing documentation, and demonstrating newly developed features. Through valuable interactions with our customers, I also help prepare and conduct demos for potential clients. I enjoy maintaining close contact with both current and prospective customers.

What do you usually do outside work?
In my free time, I enjoy participating in various sports, such as football, badminton, and running. I am often praised for my cooking skills, which I especially enjoy using ingredients and spices I've collected during my travels.

Meet Per Westerfur, the beloved, adventurous, former teacher who always seems to have a contagious smile on his face 🗻😊

Role: System Developer

💻What do you do at work?
I develop software, mainly server applications. I also build integrations between our system MBrain and customers' various systems.

🎿What do you prefer to do in your spare time?
Doing summit tours on skis is definitely number one now, but I also like to climb and run. At the moment I get a lot of activity out of the renovation of a farm I bought.

You should know by now that we're big fans of tradition at MTEK. One of our favourite traditions is the monthly Theme Friday! ✨🎭 
This Sunday it is the "Theme day's day" so we thought we'd tell you all about it!
 
On the last Friday of every month we decide on a theme and everyone gets to dress up according to that theme. It can be everything from a small accessory to a full outfit! It gives us all a chance to express our creativity with various interpretations! 🧙‍♂️🦸‍♀️💃
