The future of automated driving won't be defined by smarter sensors alone. It will be defined by trust.

In her latest blog, Carmen Pătrașcu, Head of Sales & Marketing at Tobii Autosense, explores why interior sensing must evolve from simply monitoring drivers to understanding when they are ready, willing, and able to safely take control.

What can attention data reveal about performance in aviation?

Our new guide explores how eye tracking helps make human attention measurable, providing objective insight into where people look, what they miss, and how visual behavior changes under workload.

Inside the guide:
• Visual behavior and scan patterns
• Missed cues and delayed responses
• Applications across training, design, ATC, maintenance, safety, and quality
• How attention data can support debriefing, validation, and workflow improvements

Driver performance can now be measured beyond lap times.

With , teams can analyze fixation time, saccadic speed, pupil size, and visual processing to better understand how drivers operate at high speeds, both on track and in simulation.

In this guest blog, Cristiano Giardina, CEO of Skydrive, explains how these metrics make it possible to compare drivers more objectively, identify performance gaps, and train the visual processes behind elite racing.

This opens up new possibilities for driver development, especially in simulation environments where traditional measures alone are not always enough.
