This is a 34 with changed output resistors to match input sensivity of Quad IIs of 1,5volts. The result is really great and all peaces are refurbished and gentle handled. The IIs was in bad condition painted black without Quad serial plates and bad tubes. Has served at Sveriges Govermental Radio. But great design never goes out of style.

All units restored to original specs. The sound is soo good.

Quad ESL57 First test run of treble panels after replacing most of what gets old in a pair of ESL57s. Newly refurbished EHT units new crossover units and protection circuits on the audio transformers and also new mylar membranes in the treble units.
Picture from when I tensioning Dupont mylar C 3Micron. This is really thin and get a really good resonance/responce for treble panels.
Still some bass panels to look trough..

New treble cell protection units fitted in audiotransformers. Tested and terminates at 2,5K Volts and probably at 2,2KV....
