Picking the right digital signage software is harder than it looks...

Most buying guides tell you to compare features and tick a checklist. But features are rarely what separates a good vendor from the right one.

The vendor who wins the demo isn't always the one who shows up six months after launch. When you need support, help with content strategy, or a smooth onboarding for your team, that's when the real partnership begins.

Here's what actually matters when you're evaluating your options:

✅ Get internal alignment before you talk to any vendor. IT, communications, and HR all need to be in the room early.

✅ Ask the questions vendors hope you won't. Like: what's your customer retention rate? And what's NOT included in your standard pricing?

✅ Read the contract carefully. Auto-renewals, price escalation, and hidden add-on costs are all worth checking before you sign.

✅ Make your reference calls count. Skip "are you happy with it?" and ask what surprised them after going live.
