When people think about space innovation, they often think about satellites, rockets and communications. But what about the people going to space?
The founding CEO of Qinematic Space, Glenn Bilby, is taking a different approach.
Building on more than a decade of experience in motion capture and biomechanics, the company is developing advanced movement assessment technology to support astronaut health, performance and mission readiness.
Discovered by ESA at an AI for Health event in Paris, the team saw a unique opportunity to apply their expertise to one of the most demanding environments imaginable: human spaceflight.
"Our long-term goal is to help create a future where objective movement intelligence is a standard tool for protecting human health, not only in space but also on Earth."
Read the full interview on our website, in which Glenn shares how Qinematic Space was born, why human-centric technologies deserve more attention in the space sector and how innovations developed for space can create impact far beyond it.
