Every other week we at Block Zero organise a creative workshop where designers and developers share their passions with the team, teach each other new skills or just have a chat about the latest news from the creative field. This time our designer Valentina listened to Huberman Lab podcast about olfactory system and couldn’t hold her enthusiasm to share her insights about it. This sparkled a discussion about how we as creatives could approach designing for the sense of smell – swipe to see more! 👃✨

We value quality time, this is why our team organises one breakfast talk every month, and a creative session every other week. These moments are opportunities to share, learn, and have fun! Throwback to a few weeks ago, when one of our colleagues talked about her hometown. 🤓

The team is slowly leaving for holidays so the office is gonna get calmer for some weeks, but we will soon be back for other breakfast talks, workshops and games!

"During my first appearance, I lost track of what I was saying - it was pretty uncomfortable even though I managed to finish my sentence and to invite the speaker on stage. It's hard to admit but that was exactly what I needed to release the pressure: next times will definitely be better. I came back on stage four times that afternoon, and felt extremely grateful leaving the stage more confident every time."

We are proud to be the HMI design and development partner for Project Arrow – Canada’s first zero emissions concept vehicle. In the past year, we worked closely with Product UX and other strategic stakeholders to define a compelling narrative for the user experience of this vehicle. Today we are happy to continue this collaboration and evolve that narrative into the HMI experience in the vehicle and storytelling for Project Arrow, stay tuned! 🇨🇦
