Forecasting horizons keep getting longer and longer, and fewer companies are creating forecasts only for the current fiscal year. About half of the respondents in our 2023 report work with rolling forecasts and forecasts with more dynamic horizons, which indicates that these methods are becoming increasingly popular⭐

Working driver-based gives the financial planning processes higher quality⭐💯 So, with all the advantages it gives, why doesn’t everyone already have a driver-based process? 🤔Interestingly enough, almost half of the respondents in our 2023 survey answered that the reason for not having a driver-based process is that they lack the proper tools. 15% stated that they don’t find it relevant for their organisation, and 10% stated that the reason is a lack of time ⏰
