COS Systems COS Systems offers end-to-end software to automate
your fiber to the home business. Now, Service Zones, converts real-time demand into investment decisions.

COS Systems provides network owners and operators a self-service product suite to plan, deploy and operate Fiber-to-the-Home networks. COS technology delivers a complete business and operational support system for today’s Gigabit fiber networks. COS Business Engine™ provides a completely automated self-service Marketplaces: Network subscribers can 24/7 select their preferred services, creating new

revenue streams and lowering OPEX for network owner/operators. COS Business Engine™ lets you target marketing not only to increase take-rates but also to do campaigns to attract subscribers to higher ARPU services. COS Service Zones™ lets you invest in fiber with confidence to boosts economic development, quality of life, and access to the global economy for your service area. Until now, fiber deployments were constricted by best-effort estimates and sometimes even speculation. With subscriber backing, network owner/operators can deploy where demand exists and with a continually validated business case, which supports further deployment and saves on both initial investment and future maintenance costs. COS is powered by “people who understand how the fiber market works,” analysts say. “They are experts interacting with service providers daily. COS Systems provides tools rather than just advice.”

Consolidation is reshaping the UK altnet market. The harder question comes after the deal closes: integrating legacy networks, unifying the BSS/OSS stack, and keeping service delivery intact while you do it.
Our CTO Sajan Parikh joins the panel "Making consolidation a reality: integration and value creation" at Connected Britain, 9–10 September in London.

Adam Puckett is heading to Mountain Connect. Denver, August 10–12.
The BEAD era is ending. Margins decide who survives next. The tooling you run broadband ops on decides those margins.
COS Systems is one platform for every stage of broadband ops: demand aggregation, sales, provisioning, billing, service management. One system instead of six.
Still stitching operations across disconnected tools? Talk to Adam.

Washington State is a stronghold for Open Access broadband. Municipalities and utilities here have run multi-provider networks for decades.
On September 29, the community meets in Spokane.
Regional Open Access Day: The Public Broadband Edition brings operators, ISPs, and policy stakeholders together for one day. One track. No fluff.
Keynote: Building Open Access outside major metros.
Panel I: The operational pillars of a working Open Access network. BSS/OSS, demand aggregation, ISP onboarding, who owns marketing on a shared network.
Panel II: The ISP side. Layer 2 vs. layer 3, billing integration, greenfield vs. brownfield.
The afternoon closes with structured speed dating between operators and ISPs. The evening moves to the popular Open Access Bar.
Free to attend. First 50 registrants get a gift. Space is limited.

COS Systems is now ISO 27001:2022 certified.
At COS Systems, security is foundational. What certification adds is structure. A documented management system. Audited controls. Systematic supply chain oversight. A defined process for staying ahead of a threat landscape that has changed significantly for operators and the vendors that serve them.

The certificate covers our full operation: development, delivery, and support of broadband network software: including open access solutions, field service management, and customer lifecycle processes; delivered globally.

We're happy to be part of Broadlinc's mission to connect the communities that private investment won't reach on its own.
Spokane County had more than 24,000 underserved addresses in 2024, fifth in the nation. Broadlinc, the Spokane Regional Broadband Authority, was formed specifically to close that gap: public infrastructure, ISP partners delivering service on top, hybrid fiber and fixed wireless deployed where each technology fits the terrain.
COS Business Engine will run their operations as they bring those homes online, with connections expected before end of year.

Today, access to reliable broadband isn’t a luxury; it’s an essenti...

We're wishing everyone in our network a happy 4th of July.
To the operators keeping communities connected, the teams building out new networks, and everyone celebrating with friends and family this weekend: enjoy it and stay connected.
Happy Independence Day!

AT&T. Verizon. T-Mobile. The Tier 1s are driving open access adoption in the U.S., and the economics are forcing the conversation.
COS Systems CRO Isak Finér told Fierce Network last week:
"Open access is expanding like wildfire, and it's driven by the Tier 1s. If you've built a network and you have a 30% take rate, the economics aren't great. And if someone is coming in and building another network on top of it hoping to get 30%, that's going to be very difficult. Instead of overbuilding and wasting money, people are understanding it makes more sense to share this infrastructure."
Most of our customers today are in the U.S. and Canada. We're watching this shift happen in real time.

Open access fiber has a standards problem. Every time an ISP joins a new network, both sides rebuild the integration from scratch. Billing, provisioning, technical interfaces, all custom.
That's why COS Systems and AT&T are co-leading the Open Access Network Forum, housed within ATIS, to change it. The goal: a unified spec covering the business, operational, and technical requirements for ISP onboarding across North America.
Our CEO Mikael Philipsson, vice chair of the forum, put it plainly at Open Access Day 2026: if every ISP integration is bespoke, you don't have open access. You have exceptions.
Broadband Breakfast covered the full discussion from Fiber Connect. Free sign-up gets you full access.
