Our Founder & CEO Louis Liu joined the panel at the inaugural HSBC Asia Fintech Summit on digital assets, tokenisation and money movement, moderated by David Chong (HSBC) alongside Previn Pillay (Circle), Selene Chong (HSBC), and Joseph Chee (Solana).

At FOMO Pay, our take is that Singapore and Hong Kong are building different halves of the same money movement stack, with Hong Kong's new stablecoin licences driving issuance credibility, while Singapore's MPI framework already pushing payment institutions like us into acceptance and settlement of stablecoins.

Our HR & Marketing team came together to unpack China's FinTech revolution โ€” from Alipay and WeChat Pay's ecosystem dominance, to e-CNY, to Hong Kong's stablecoin developments.

It was our pleasure to help prepare these students for their journey to Shanghai.

Our colleague Jacky Fung, joined the panel discussion "Exploring Stablecoin Development: Infrastructure, Adoption, and the Next Wave of Fintech," alongside Bobo L. (Cyberport ๆ•ธ็ขผๆธฏ), Louie Lee (Prosynergy), Felix Tsui (HKT Financial Services), and Steven Wang (OSL), digging into what it takes to move stablecoins from infrastructure to real-world adoption. As Hong Kongโ€™s virtual asset ecosystem continues to mature, we believe compliance will be the foundation for sustainable adoption.
