Spent Thursday at Nustar Resort Cebu for the MEPZ-PMA 10th Suppliers' Expo, this year built around "Insight Meets Industry: AI @ Work."

Great turnout from manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders across the Mactan Economic Zone. Our team was at the booth talking through Business Central and Solver CPM with teams looking to move off spreadsheets and legacy systems, and it's always a good gut check to hear directly what's actually slowing companies down on the floor and in finance.

Good conversations, good coffee, and a packed ballroom. Thanks to MEPZ-PMA for putting it together.

The BIR's e-invoicing deadline is December 31, 2026. For large taxpayers, e-commerce businesses, and companies running Computerized Accounting Systems, that's the date structured electronic invoices and real-time sales reporting to the EIS stop being optional.

Six months feels like a lot of runway until you map out what's actually involved: EIS certification, a Permit to Transmit, system integration testing, and internal process changes for how AR and AP teams work day to day. Most of that timeline gets eaten by testing and troubleshooting, not the initial setup.

We've walked several clients through compliance-driven system changes this year, including EOPT and CAS-related requirements. The pattern is consistent: organizations that start testing early catch integration issues while there's still time to fix them. Organizations that wait find out in November.

We're running a Teams webinar on September 24 on what readiness actually looks like — where to start, what BIR requires technically, and how to avoid a scramble in Q4.

Winning more Acumatica deals creates a good problem: delivery capacity. Every new contract needs configuration, customization, or technical work fast, and building a full bench for each specialization ahead of demand rarely makes financial sense.

Acumatica addressed this directly in its partner program. Services-only partners can subcontract with VARs on configuration, development, and technical consultation — a defined role, not an informal arrangement. Acumatica

Acceltech works in that capacity as an official Acumatica Service Partner. VARs bring us in when a project needs extra hands or a specific skill set, then scale down once it's delivered. No hiring cycle between deals, no idle bench between projects.

With 21 Acumatica VARs landing on ERP Global Insights' 2025 Top 100 VARs list, the partners pulling ahead tend to be the ones who can say yes to the next deal without a staffing delay first.

If capacity is the gap between your pipeline and your close rate, reach out to Ellaine at [email protected] to talk through where a services partnership fits.

Five go-lives. Five very different businesses.

Over the first half of 2026, we closed out Business Central implementations with five organizations we genuinely enjoyed working with: AF Payments Inc., the team behind the beep card; HIS Travel, sending travelers off across the globe; the Philippine-American Educational Foundation, known as Fulbright Philippines; Grand Titan Holdings, spanning banking, property, and manufacturing; and Philippine EDS Techno-Service, engineering wiring systems for one of the world's largest auto parts makers.

Payments, travel, non profit, holdings, service. Different worlds, same request: a system that fits the business, not the other way around.

At the exit conference, one company president said it best:
"The migration from NAV to BC didn't disrupt our operations. It was seamless."

That's the goal on every project, a transition quiet enough that people barely notice it happened.

To all five organizations, thank you for trusting us with this. Still running on legacy NAV and curious what this could look like for you? Book a call with our team.

Finance teams spend nearly half their time on data collection instead of analysis, per the FP&A Trends 2025 Benchmarks — 46%, and rising. For a conglomerate running budgets across multiple business units, that number compounds fast: every subsidiary, every spreadsheet, every version somebody has to reconcile by hand before it reaches the board.

Some Philippine conglomerates have tried fixing this with a full ERP rollout, or with a well-known CPM/FP&A platform. Many stopped at the quote. Global platforms built for multinational finance teams often carry price tags and implementation timelines that don't match the size or budget cycle of a PH-based group, so the spreadsheets stay.

Solver was built for the budget and forecast cycle itself, not a broader suite bolted onto it. It consolidates multiple entities into one model, updates forecasts as actuals come in, and gets a full group budget cycle running in weeks, not quarters, at a cost that fits a mid-market conglomerate rather than a multinational one.

For finance teams managing several business units under SEC and BIR reporting requirements, that's the difference between closing books at midnight and closing them on time.

Most ERP AI conversations start with feature lists. The better question: which capabilities hold up once real data, approval chains, and messy records get involved.

One global survey found only 28% of medium-sized businesses report strong data readiness for AI initiatives — which starts to explain why so many rollouts stall regardless of the platform underneath them. AI amplifies what's already there; it doesn't repair a fragmented environment on its own. Fragile data doesn't quiet down once automation sits on top of it. It gets louder.

So where is it actually paying off? Not in the dashboards vendors demo. What we keep seeing hold up across implementations is narrower and less glamorous: compressing the repetitive work that makes ERP expensive to operate — reading attachments, matching records, drafting documents, routing exceptions. That's where the hours were always going.

Meaningful adoption typically takes 6-12 months after go-live — longer than most rollout plans budget for, and a reminder that this isn't a configuration checkbox.

The pattern that keeps holding up: the platform matters less than whether the foundation underneath it can already answer a straight question. Automate before that's true, and you're just automating the mess faster.

Most ERPs treat integration as a project. Business Central treats it as default. It connects to Microsoft 365 — Outlook, Excel, Teams — plus Copilot, without middleware or custom builds.

The payoff shows up in daily friction, not dashboards: financial data flows straight into Excel, customer interactions get managed from Outlook, and Business Central records surface in Teams — closing the usual gap where finance works in the ERP, sales lives in email, and operations tracks inventory somewhere else entirely.

Forrester's 2026 study, built from real customer interviews, adds a harder data point: always-on AI agents now automate payables and monitor sales orders in real time, shifting effort toward exceptions that actually need a person.

Worth naming honestly: this advantage is strongest for organizations already on Microsoft 365. Heavy non-Microsoft stacks will find less to gain.

For Microsoft-centric teams, though, the ecosystem isn't a bonus — it's why the ERP stops feeling separate at all.

Still switching tabs between Outlook, Excel, and your ERP? That's a solved problem. Talk to Acceltech about a Business Central assessment.

Most teams don't lose time on bad tools. They lose it reconciling data between good ones.

Business Central fixes that by design. It's a cloud ERP that puts finance, sales, inventory, purchasing, and customer data in one system — so teams work from shared numbers instead of exporting spreadsheets back and forth. It's the system of record: it tracks transactions, manages orders, monitors inventory, and supports project delivery. That's why reports hold up on their own, without a reconciliation pass first.

For businesses in the Philippines, that same backbone extends into compliance. Business Central is built to be:

✅CAS (Computerized Accounting System) ready — the BIR classification for systems that generate and manage accounting records digitally
✅EIS (Electronic Invoicing System) ready — supporting real-time e-invoice and e-receipt transmission to the BIR, now mandatory for large taxpayers, e-commerce businesses, and CAS users ahead of the December 31, 2026 deadline
✅EOPT (Ease of Paying Taxes Act, RA 11976) ready — aligned with the reconfigured requirements the BIR has rolled out for CAS and CBA users under the Act

That matters because these aren't optional checkboxes. Missing e-invoicing compliance carries penalties from ₱1,000 to ₱50,000 per offense, and every branch of a business has to comply, not just the head office.

The underrated part isn't the ERP itself. It's what it connects to without custom development — Outlook, Power BI, Power Automate — all while staying tied to one dataset and one compliance posture.

That's the real value: one operational backbone finance, sales, and ops can work from, that also keeps you audit-ready.

How is your organization preparing for the EIS deadline — already transmitting, or still mapping the gap?

One week. Three locations. One practical requirement: technology only works when people know how to use it well.

Our teams delivered training sessions in Manila, Malaysia, and Guam—working directly with participants, answering operational questions, and turning technical knowledge into skills they can apply on the job.

That’s the part of implementation we care about most at Acceltech. We don’t just set up a system and walk away.

We stay, train, answer the “Wait, what happens if…?” questions, and make sure the tools we deploy are adopted and used effectively.

If your team is evaluating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica, Solver CPM or a property management workflow and wondering what support looks like after go-live, this is what it looks like.

Acumatica's own developer documentation and partner case studies keep pointing to the same handful of mistakes:

🚫 Jumping straight to custom code instead of checking whether configuration or no-code tools (Generic Inquiries, Business Events) already solve it.
🚫 Modifying the database directly instead of going through the Customization Project Editor and the framework's extension points.
🚫 Multiple developers editing one project at once instead of splitting scope across separate instances.
🚫 Judging quality by year one, when the real test is whether it survives the next platform upgrade.
🚫 Mismatched data view names between screen and graph — a small gap that causes a full publish failure.

None of these are exotic. They're shortcuts around the platform's intended structure, and they get expensive later.

If you're scoping custom development, talk to us. As an Acumatica Services Partner, we know exactly where these mistakes creep in — and how to build around them from day one. Message us to walk through your project.
