最大伺服器之一 Wynncraft Minecraft 上週遭到 2.5 Tbps DDoS 攻擊。據 Cloudflare 描述，這是一次持續約兩分鐘的混合式多向攻擊，由 UDP 和 TCP 組成去試圖使得目標伺服器無法負荷並影響數十萬玩家。DDoS 攻擊是一種惡意威脅，大至可分為三類：應用程式層攻擊、協議攻擊和容量耗盡攻擊，而在今次 Minecraft 情況就是協議攻擊。

《2022年 DDoS 攻擊趨勢》報告顯示，銀行、金融服務及保險是第三大最有可能遭受 DDoS 攻擊的企業, 如果這些企業不保護自己免受這些攻擊，後果可以好嚴重如導致重大收入損失、敏感數據洩露，甚至損害企業聲譽等。

Last week, one of the largest servers Wynncraft Minecraft was hit by a 2.5 Tbps attack. According to Cloudflare, it was a multi-vector attack that lasted for about two minutes and consisted of both UDP and TCP trying to overwhelm the server and affecting hundreds of thousands of players. DDoS attacks are a dangerous threat, they can be divided into three categories: application layer attacks, protocol attacks, and volumetric attacks, and in this case, they would be protocol attacks.

The report ‘DDoS Attack Trends for 2022’ shows that businesses within the banking, financial services, and insurance industry around the globe were the third most likely to suffer from a DDoS attack, if these businesses do not protect themselves against these attacks, the impact can be massive, resulting in significant revenue loss, sensitive data breaches, and even damage business’s reputation.
