🤝From 30 June to 2 July 2026, took part in a joint gathering of three EU-funded projects XR Culture, 3D BigData Space and 3D 4CH in Poznań, Poland, bringing together cultural institutions, researchers and technology providers from across Europe.

💡Ambrož Černe presented the results of the project: four real-world XR scenarios showing how existing 3D models of cultural heritage can be transformed into immersive experiences for tourists, museum visitors and students, including holographic postcards that bring a 3D hologram to life through a simple plastic pyramid placed on a smartphone.

🏰With XRCulture now concluded, Arctur continues its work in the 3D-4CH project, driving the development of a European online competence centre for 3D cultural heritage.

At the 34th EAES Congress in Athens, surgeons, researchers, and innovators came together to discuss the latest developments in minimally invasive surgery.

Among the programme was the workshop AI for Re**al Cancer Surgery – the CLASSICA Project, chaired by Ronan Cahill and Alberto Arezzo.

We are proud that our colleague Samo Eržen contributed to the workshop by presenting a hands-on demonstration of the CLASSICA software as part of the programme.

The workshop highlighted ongoing collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and technology partners in advancing AI-supported surgery.

Proud to share that 𝐀𝐈𝟒𝐕𝐄𝐓𝟒𝐀𝐈 will be showcased at the UN High-Level Political Forum 2026!

As a project partner, Arctur is contributing to this collective effort to advance AI competencies in VET education.

🌐 We're proud to share that AI4VET4AI will be featured at the Virtual Side Event to the United Nations High-Level Political Forum 2026 (HLPF) — hosted by our partner, Think Tank AlterContacts, NGO in Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council.

The event, titled "Closing the Skills Gap for the 2030 Agenda: Lessons from EU Transnational Partnerships," brings together five EU-funded Erasmus+ projects as concrete, replicable models of how education and skills partnerships can accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.

AI4VET4AI will be presented by Maja Brkljačić, Head of Algebra LAB at Sveučilište Algebra Bernays and project coordinator — one of several inspiring women speakers leading the conversation on the green and digital transitions at this global forum.

Today, on International Women in Engineering Day , we celebrate the women who are shaping the future of , , and .

This year's theme, , highlights the creativity, expertise and problem-solving capabilities that engineers bring to some of society's most complex challenges. It is also a reminder that the future of engineering must be built on diverse perspectives and equal opportunities.

At Arctur, we are proud that women play a leading role in our organisation:

🔹 45% of middle management positions are held by women

🙌Furthermore, we also have our women colleagues representatives in the Central European Chapter of Women in HPC.

From high-performance computing and artificial intelligence to digital innovation and international research projects, our women colleagues contribute their knowledge, leadership and vision every day, helping to create solutions with real impact.

While progress is being made, women remain underrepresented in engineering and technology professions worldwide. 🏆 Iskrene čestitke ekipi Divaški Čeljustniki z OŠ Divača, ki je na prestižnem mednarodnem tekmovanju WAFFLE (WPI First Lego League Open Event) v ZDA osvojila priznanje Engineering Excellence Award – Finalist.

🌏 V Arcturju z veseljem podpiramo tudi pobude, ki mladim odpirajo vrata v svet. Zato smo podprli udeležbo dijakov Gimnazije Nova Gorica na izmenjavi z Europäisches Gymnasium Waldenburg v Nemčiji, kjer so pridobivali nova znanja, spoznavali drugačno šolsko okolje ter gradili mednarodne povezave.

💡 Zavedamo se, da moramo v tako majhni državi, kot je Slovenija, še posebej skrbno negovati in razvijati mlade talente – ne le na področju naravoslovja in tehnologije, temveč na vseh področjih, kjer lahko s svojim znanjem, ustvarjalnostjo in zavzetostjo prispevajo k razvoju družbe. Zato bomo tudi v prihodnje podpirali mlade pri njihovem učenju, raziskovanju in osebni rasti, saj je vlaganje v njihov razvoj najboljša naložba v prihodnost naše skupnosti.

🎯 This week, the Arctur team attended the Alliance for Language Technologies - ALT-EDIC Week 2026 at Château de Villers-Cotterêts, connecting with partners from the LLMs4EU project and discussing the future of European language technologies and AI.

💡 At the event, Tomislav Šubić, Head of AI at Arctur, presented the progress of the Tourism Domain Use Case HeritAI, a Assistant that uses trusted cultural heritage data to enhance visitor experiences and increase the visibility of lesser-known destinations.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange feedback, align future activities, and explore new opportunities in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

📍 CLASSICA Plenary Meeting in Nova Gorica

On 15–16 June 2026, Arctur had the pleasure of hosting the CLASSICA Plenary Meeting in Nova Gorica, bringing together partners from across the consortium for two days of productive discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.

💡During the meeting, partners reviewed the project's progress, shared updates on ongoing activities, and aligned on the next steps in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere. The event was held in a hybrid format, enabling both on-site and remote participation.

The first day concluded with a networking dinner in the beautiful Goriška Brda region, providing an excellent opportunity for informal discussions and strengthening connections among project partners.

On the second day, participants took part in a dedicated workshop focused on future collaboration opportunities and defining the next steps towards ensuring the long-term impact and sustainability of the project's results.
