Asal Professional Training Center (APTC) will provide professional training services related to engineering and information technology and project management. The center is intended to serve as a world-class training facility that offers a variety of products related to training and capacity building. The Center targets the local corporations, SME's, non-profit organizations

and fresh graduates looking to gain the necessary skills for today's job market. It will adopt a hands-on instructional style where the trainees will solve real-world problems, and undertake practical projects throughout the trainings. The training programs and courses will range from 2-day workshops and seminars to 4-week courses. The specific target groups of the training center include IT professionals, technical staff of universities and telecom operators, professional engineers, doctors and healthcare staff. In addition to the instructor-led training approach, the Center will produce audiovisual training content and materials that might be distributed using an eLearning platform or DVD's. The Center will adopt international IT and engineering certification programs as the cornerstone of its curriculum; and will seek to partner with international training providers in its efforts to become a certification exams preparation center.
