🎶 Pneuma – This is more than just a song; it's an experience.
For me, this masterpiece by Tool goes beyond music—it's a philosophical journey. The lyrics urge us to reflect on our true nature, reminding us that we are more than physical beings; we are souls deeply connected to something greater.
"We are will and wonder, bound to recall, remember."
This line encapsulates the essence of the song, calling us to awaken from our spiritual slumber and reconnect with our higher selves.
What resonates with me most about Pneuma is its profound ability to pause time and make you reconsider life, existence, and everything in between. It’s an invitation to rediscover the truth of who we are. This, for me, aligns closely with the Tree of Life in Kabbalah, where the Sefirot (the divine attributes) are the building blocks of existence. Like the Sefirot, the song guides us through different stages of spiritual growth, leading us towards unity with the higher-self.
I spent about a month and a half working on this album cover, aiming to represent this deep, transformative energy. I drew inspiration from the glowing spheres of the Sefirot, as they represent the core of spiritual existence and personal evolution. Every detail of this design is a reflection of the song's journey toward spiritual awakening.
