Unpopular opinion: hiring another receptionist is the wrong answer.
Not because they aren't valuable. Because the problem isn't headcount — it's coverage.
One person. 8 hours. One chat at a time. No weekends. No 11 PM.
Hiring another person just adds another 8-hour shift.
The gap between when patients message and when anyone can respond? It stays exactly the same.
