HPE/HPI/INTEL CodeWars專為學生設計，凡 國內公私立『大專院校』學生與在家自學之學生（年齡需與應屆大專院校相同） 均可報名參賽。

odeWars is open to students at public or private university students.
為配合防疫，今年報名隊伍參賽人數為 1人，超過1人之隊伍不符合參賽資格，請參賽學生到指定舉辦場地進行競賽
To consider social distance, we permit contestants signing up as a team of only 1 person.
若有領隊，領隊須為學校老師、家長或有程式設計經驗的學長姐，領隊僅負責參賽者賽前之指導以及處理競賽相關之溝通協調等工作， 不可為參賽者，更不得實際參與競賽！同一名領隊所帶領隊伍數目不限。（領隊須年滿18歲）
If you have the Sponsor, he/she must be school teacher or parent or senior student with coding experience who plays the role as mentor, helps with coordination and communication. Contestants must attend the CodeWars competition alone. If observed to be violating this rule the contestant will be disqualified immediately. HPE/HPI/INTEL 保有所有團隊之資格審核與決定參賽團隊之權利！
Because the capacity of contestants is limited, HPE/HPI/INTEL reserves the right to pick the students which can participate.
✽ 設備/Equipment
因本次競賽採線上進行(當天以自己帶去的筆記型電腦登入系統)，所有題目一律由 CodeWars 2.0 系統公布，比賽當天參賽者請自行準備計算紙方便於競賽過程中做計算之用。 All problems will be provided by the CodeWars 2.0 system since CodeWars will be hosted online.
競賽當天，參賽者須自行準備電腦設備，一名參賽者允許設備為： 可上網的筆記型電腦x1、滑鼠x1、鍵盤x1。
You must prepare your own equipment during the competition. Each content is allowed to use one laptop, one mouse and one keyboard.
請注意： 我們衷心期許一場榮譽且公平的競爭。比賽中參賽者不允許上網尋求解答或使用通訊軟體協助做答。 希望各參賽者秉持運動家精神參與本次競賽。 如若抓到違反規定者，取消參賽資格。
Please note: Please note: We sincerely hope to hold an honorable and fair competition. Participants are not allowed to go online or ask others to seek answers. ✽ 比賽規則/General Format
參賽者都將需要解決我們題庫裡的問題，約15題
Contestants will be provided around 15 problems.
每個問題會依照問題本身的難易程度而有不同分數
Each problem carries a point value, with values increasing with problem difficulty.
比賽時間為2.5小時，由時間內得分最高的隊伍贏得比賽
The goal is to solve as many problems as possible in 2.5 hours. At the end, the contestants with the most points win!
所有參賽者將同時競賽，不分任何組別！
All contestants will compete with each other at once, will not be classified into different classifications.
比賽題目為英文出題

The judges' rulings are FINAL.
所有問題的解決方法必須被實做出來，而非只是紙上談兵，評審會用各種不同的資料去驗證您的程式
All solutions must programmatically determine the results. In other words, your solution cannot just print out a solution to a problem that you determined by hand. The judges will be using some different data sets for your programs at the judging table.
您的檔案名稱必須遵守比賽規定之命名規則
File naming conventions for solutions must be followed.
您將會需要從我們安排的一堆程式設計任務中揀選部分來完成， 因為在有限時間內您將無法做完全部，所以您必須聰明地挑選
You will have a number of programming tasks to choose from. You probably will not be able to solve them all, so you are advised to study them and choose your problems wisely. HPE/HPI CodeWars utilizes a custom online browser-based submission/judging/scoring system.
每個參賽者將有唯一的一組帳號與密碼
Each contestant will receive a unique login and password for the competition.
同一個問題的解決方案不受提交次數的限制，換句話說，當您的解決方案出現錯誤時， 您可以重複提交另一個解決方案，但您必須注意， 當兩參賽者最後分數相同時，以先達到該分數的參賽者勝出(時間制)。
There is no limit to the number of submissions you can make to solve a given problem. However, note that in the case of a tie score, the first contestant to reach the score wins.

Verify that your program works with the example input before submitting it to the judges. Don't waste your time (and the judges') submitting a bad program you could have caught with your own testing.

比賽期間任何違反規定之選手，將立即取消競賽資格。
If you are observed violating the rules during the CodeWars competition, you are subject to immediate disqualification. HPE/HPI/INTEL has the privilege to modify the competition rules and content on this website.
