The reality of being a WFH/VA/Freelancer handling multiple clients.
After working from home for years, here's something I wish someone told me sooner:
There will be days when you feel overwhelmed.
You'll juggle different clients with different expectations, deadlines that overlap, messages that never seem to stop, and at the same time, your family still needs you.
The pressure is real.
One moment you're on a client call. The next, you're helping around the house. Then you're back to editing, replying to emails, and planning your next deliverable.
The pros? ✨ You have freedom. ✨ You can work from anywhere. ✨ You have more control over your time. ✨ You get to build a life on your own terms.
The cons? ⚡ Work doesn't always end at 5 PM. ⚡ Burnout can sneak up on you. ⚡ It's easy to feel guilty, whether you're working or spending time with your family. ⚡ Balancing everything takes constant effort.
My advice?
Don't chase being busy, chase being sustainable.
Set boundaries. Protect your peace. Learn to say no when your plate is full. And remember, you don't have to prove your worth by being available 24/7.
Your clients deserve your best work, but your family deserves the best version of you too.
If you've been feeling the pressure lately, take this as your reminder: you're doing better than you think. 🤍
