A full-day listening session at the LCAVI demo cinema sealed the decision. The final room, designed and built by Ocinema, features:

Black Corner Cinema near Vienna is a reference-level private theater.

The project was entirely designed, engineered, built, and calibrated by Heimkinobau.de. At its core is the MAG Theatron AVALON Ultimate Screen Wall Array, supported by eight 21-inch AVALON SUB subwoofers: four behind the screen and four integrated into the rear wall for Trinnov Audio WaveForming.

The installation also features the first worldwide use of MAG Theatron AVALON SUR, announced at ISE 2026 and deployed here for the side and rear surround channels. MAG Theatron CS66 ceiling speakers complete the immersive layer, while AVALON AMP amplification drives the system with the control and headroom required for a room of this scale.

Our partners Pulse Cinemas / Invision UK continue their ambitious expansion, adding a dedicated high-end cinema demonstration suite in Bracknell, where the flagship MAG Theatron AVALON system is now performing with Trinnov Audio processing.

After months of planning, installation and calibration, the first reactions have been exactly what we hoped for. During one demo featuring a scene from 13 Hours, one visitor summed it up perfectly:

The MAG Theatron team attended the two-day event, which marked the start of a new series of demonstration sessions at Innovation House UK. The programme included an immersive audio presentation, created and delivered in person by Justin Gray, winner of the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Immersive Audio Album.

We are delighted with the result and warmly invite integrators, dealers and clients across the UK, Ireland and the surrounding regions to visit Innovation House UK and experience MAG Theatron AVALON for themselves.

Mallorca, private cinema, and serious cinema sound in progress.

Our partners Grobi.tv Heimkino & mehr / Heimkinobau.de are currently working on a new MAG Theatron installation, turning a challenging basement space into a fully fledged private cinema. Even at this stage, the scale of the front system already makes it clear: this project is being built for real cinematic dynamics, impact, and immersion.

MAG Theatron was proudly showcased at the recent Pulse Cinemas Experience in Stansted, UK — a two-day event that brought together integrators, partners, and customers for an immersive look at high-performance private cinema design.

Shortly after the start of the new partnership, Pulse Cinemas equipped its small cinema demo room with a dedicated MAG Theatron system:

In Germany, a remarkable private cinema was brought to life in a spacious attic room by our valued partners at Grobi.tv Heimkino & mehr, known for their meticulous approach to premium home theater integration. With its unusual room geometry, carefully considered acoustics, and precise system alignment, this project is a strong example of how thoughtful design can translate into a genuinely immersive experience.

The room measures approximately 8 × 8 meters with a maximum ceiling height of 3.30 meters, creating an excellent foundation for a high-performance cinema environment with proper channel spacing, stable soundfield geometry, and effortless large-scale sound.

The system is built around a two-level MAG Theatron configuration:

✔️ 7 × MAG Theatron M12 — lower layer
✔️ 6 × MAG Theatron S6 — upper layer

Combined with an acoustically transparent screen and comprehensive acoustic treatment, the result is precise localization, excellent intelligibility, strong dynamic headroom, and even coverage throughout the listening area.

Acoustic tuning by Holger von der Krone played an important role in refining the final performance, while custom millwork allowed the loudspeakers to be positioned exactly according to the acoustic design model.

This project is another clear example that a truly well-executed private cinema comes from more than just quality components — it requires the right combination of room design, acoustics, integration, and calibration.
