UK-Ukraine TechBridge Business Roadshow: Key Takeaways 🇬🇧🇺🇦
We are proud to share highlights from our participation in the UK–Ukraine TechBridge Business Roadshow, where SoloWay Technologies joined a delegation of Ukrainian tech companies across Birmingham, Cambridge, and Manchester.
Over three intensive days, we explored some of the UK’s most dynamic tech ecosystems, connecting with industry leaders, government representatives, and innovative businesses.
🟣 Birmingham — A strong introduction to the West Midlands tech landscape, with valuable insights from regional authorities, universities, and industry organizations. A key highlight was the discussion on cyber resilience and the growing importance of innovation in addressing evolving security challenges.
🟣 Cambridge — A global centre of deep tech and research excellence. From AI-focused discussions to visiting the University of Cambridge and the Dawn Supercomputer, we experienced firsthand how academia and business drive innovation together. We were also honoured to be welcomed by the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. A memorable moment was visiting The Eagle pub — the historic place where the structure of DNA was first announced, symbolising the spirit of discovery and innovation.
🟣 Manchester — A city with a powerful industrial heritage and a rapidly growing digital ecosystem. Discussions focused on international collaboration, scaling innovation, and opportunities in tech, digital, and cybersecurity sectors. Site visits to leading innovation centres and engineering facilities showcased the region’s strong capabilities in applied technology and robotics.
During the roadshow, SoloWay Technologies was represented by Andy Khomyn, VP of Global Development, who presented our company and engaged with partners across the UK tech ecosystem.
Throughout the roadshow, we had the opportunity to:
✔️ Present our expertise and solutions
✔️ Meet new partners and reconnect with industry colleagues
✔️ Explore collaboration and investment opportunities
✔️ Strengthen UK–Ukraine tech connections
We see strong potential for long-term partnerships and meaningful collaboration between our ecosystems.
We are grateful to the organisers and partners for an insightful programme, valuable connections, and warm hospitality throughout the journey.
