Important security message for PrestaShop store owners

If your store has not been updated yet, we strongly recommend taking action as soon as possible

What should be done right now:
- if your store runs on the PrestaShop 8 branch - update to PrestaShop 8.2.6
- if your store runs on the PrestaShop 9 branch - update to PrestaShop 9.1.3
- if your store uses the Faceted Search module - make sure to update ps_facetedsearch to the latest version v4.0.4-ps_facetedsearch following the official details and instructions from PrestaShop
- update your other installed modules and theme as well
- remove modules you no longer use
- create a full backup of your files and database before updating
- test your store after the update

Why is this important?

Most attacks target known vulnerabilities that have already been fixed in newer core or module versions. That is why keeping both the PrestaShop core and all modules up to date is one of the most important steps to protect your store, orders, and customer data.
