We have frequently told you about the teams that captured our hearts with their unique projects during the first selection of winners in the "7 wings" Grant fund! Even after receiving funding, we closely monitor our winners' development and be inspired by their success stories. Today we want to share with you another incredible achievement of the winning team of the first selection - CASES.

A few days ago, the CASES media team announced on their social networks that they had entered the TOP 10 finalists of the Ukrainian selection of Startup World Cup Ukraine 2022.

What does it mean?

Startup World Cup is a World Cup of Startups. The event itself is not limited exclusively to the competitive part because participants will be able to join various conferences and lectures from more than 500 best lecturers in the field of entrepreneurship. The contest's Grand Final will be held in Silicon Valley, and what is even more interesting, it will attract 2,500 investors and 50,000 participants from around the world.

The CASES team took part in regional online pitching for the right to represent Ukraine in the global startup arena. The winner of the final selection will not only become the official representative of the country at the Startup World Cup 2022 but also compete for a cash prize of $1,000,000!

Here we are with one more team member of our 7Wings boat! AcademyOcean – EduTech team for business.

We experienced this a lot of times: no one likes to read boring PDFs or ebooks sturting with a new job or product. AcademyOcean decided to make learning a SaaS product fun.

The idea of AcademyOcean was to help businesses with the onboarding of new workers, as well as make job training more interactive and practical, and build an educational portal for their employees, partners, and customers.

Courses consist of structured lessons, text, images, videos, and quizzes. They are interactive, and customers get a nice certificate.

Companies already noted the following advantages:

- simple LMS system that was easy to customize and maintain from an admin side and intuitive from a user side.
- Elaborate UI/UX and ease of use for both admin and learner. It takes 10 minutes to create and launch a new educational course.
- The certification process is handled directly in the app.

Today`s team of our 7Wings project is working on augmenting reality for professional and entertainment purposes.

The ByOwls, Inc. team passed the way from VR for enterprise to game dev.

They created virtual simulation rooms for workers to train safe professional behavior and models of different engines in augment reality with an educational aim. For instance, the staff could disassemble the turbine into many parts, and then assemble it back in a virtual environment.

This was cheaper for fabrics, who used to create simulation rooms in real space, and also gave an opportunity to train up to 10 workers at the same time.

The next level was to develop a Virtual Reality Streaming Platform – the application which turns the phone into a VR headset by tracking the space and the user’s hands.

It allows any user with a mid-range smartphone and ARCore support to use the VR platform. It helps to save significant funds on the purchase of VR equipment because the platform does not require VR helmets.

Among innovations of ByOwls is the Virtual Production Software. This technology allows turning Android devices into a virtual joystick and virtual camera which will be useful for designers and developers who create new game mechanics and work with virtual production. As a game designers create unique and breathe taking scenes through the technical innovations and amazing design features. ByOwls works not only with games but also with marketing and architecture areas.

Today we are talking about one more of our team, DrugCard. Thіs startup helps the Ukrainian pharmacological industry with safety.

Pharmaceutical companies are responsible for the effectiveness and safety of medicines they place on the market. One of the tools is to monitor the literature. In this way, they monitor possible reactions and complaints related to the safety of their drugs.

Manual literature monitoring is time-consuming and one can miss important information.

DrugCard is a software product that allows automated literature monitoring not only among pages but also PDF files (even scanned), DOC \ DOCX files, and images. The team collected one hundred medical and scientific journals and regularly monitored them. In addition, automation significantly speeds up monitoring processes - the program provides instant answers about any special tools.

Moreover, a startup is desirable in compliance with the Security Data Exchange Agreements (SDEA). This document fixes the responsibility for transferring security information on time and between all stakeholders.

Currently, the product reaches the number of more than 190,000 articles in the database. Every week 500 new articles with a mention of client's medicine are monitored.

To help the pharmaceutical industry during the war, DrugCard becomes free for Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers during martial law without a contract and any obligations. All you have to do is contact them on Facebook or by mail.
