Curely AI Research Update
At Curely AI, we're making meaningful progress in our mission to build intelligent healthcare systems that are accessible, accurate, and autonomous.
Our latest research focuses on training a deep learning model for radiology that can detect and localize diseases from chest X-rays—beginning with tuberculosis (TB). The model is designed to:
Identify disease-related abnormalities,
Highlight affected regions with bounding boxes,
Provide diagnostic confidence scores to assist clinicians in decision-making.
The image below is a snapshot from our current pipeline, showing early detection of TB with promising accuracy.
This work is part of our broader vision to support medical professionals with AI tools that enhance their efficiency, especially in under-resourced healthcare systems. Our approach is not to replace radiologists but to empower them—with technology that helps them do more, faster.
We’re beginning with TB, but we’re building toward a model that can detect a wide range of thoracic conditions including pneumonia, cardiomegaly, and lung cancer.
This is just the start. We believe intelligent diagnostic tools should be available to every healthcare worker, in every corner of the world.
We’re excited to continue refining this model and integrating it into our autonomous healthcare systems under development.
Thank you to the incredible research and engineering team at Curely AI for pushing the boundaries every day.
