Congrats to our newest MCG creative!

NSU sophomore Maggie Kruger has made history as the first student in Northern's Filmmaking, Broadcasting and Interactive Media Production program to earn international film festival recognition! 🎬🐺 Her short documentary "The Story Behind the 3 Crosses" was selected for the 3rd ½ Bernardsville Film Festival. We are so proud of you, Maggie!

We are helping the Aberdeen Family YMCA with a 100 year anniversary project and we need your photos, film or video. Isn’t this cool? Congrats to all the art students! Awards are well deserved. Northern State University Foundation and Alumni Association Northern State University, you have some talented students.

Presently just over 25% of the creatives at MCG are Northern State University graduates. AND we currently employ three interns from there as well. The impact NSU has on area small businesses by providing bright creative minds is unmeasurable. We have become more and more involved with partnerships at the university at several levels and I can only see that increasing in the future. While I’m proud to see our name on various things, I am much more proud of the talented people from NSU (and other schools) that walk in our door to share their talents.

Last evening we got to participate in the Fine Arts Department’s annual juried art show. We couldnt believe the turn out. Well over 100 people came out to elevate student art. Art faculty Tim Rickett and Epiphany Knedler created an amazing event thay was attended by top NSU and area business leadership. Well done NSU, and thanks for including us.
