It's been a while since I had any interesting freelance design projects. Except for some fun personal things I've done for my Paragenesis Minerals business. So... I just finished this business card design for a client and we are very pleased with how it turned out. These will get printed early next week.

I keep putting together cool ads and promos for The Collector Connection. Latest has some incredible vintage comics and non-sport trading cards. Meanwhile... they are looking to the end of summer and football. Not a personal fan. But I like the ad.

I discovered that a bookstore has one of the long out of print and extremely limited copies of the signed ALL THE DEVILS ARE HERE books for sale on Ebay very reasonably. This is an anthology that I designed and published with Unnameable Press Specialty Book Publisher - a project I launched while I was in college. From 1986. A great opportunity to pick up this early limited, signed edition! Signed by quite a few writers and artists including Ray Bradbury, Brian Aldiss, Michael Bishop and Joseph Payne Brennan.

3 COPIES AVAILABLE! - I managed to get ahold of a couple more copies of the STAR OF CUBA book that I designed. Delivery was around Thanksgiving last year after over two years of layout work. Almost all of the 1000 copies of the First Edition are already sold out. The remainder will be gone by mid-April. So if you would like one of these amazing histories for your collection... or would like to read what is no doubt the most detailed and definitive history of Commercial Aviation in Cuba... here's your opportunity. Volume 1 covers the history from their beginning as a flight school in the late 1920s, until the takeover by Castro's regime in 1959. Volume 2, which should be out near the end of this year, will pick up where this leaves off and bring us current to today. Design will match and will make a 2-volume set.

375 pages. Over 550 historic photos of planes, pilots, airports, maps and tragedies along the way. Detailed with information culled from dozens of first hand interviews with former pilots accomplished by the author over 2 decades. Fleet lists of every airplane that flew for CUBANA through the years with dates, historical info and their ultimate fates. Extremely readable and informative. I'll be producing a new 2022 desk calendar which should be out in November. It will have this format and is the size of a CD jewel case with page inserts for each month. I'll be selling them at shows and markets. Limited production, so if interested... make sure you let me know. Price will be a very affordable $10-12. All original photos and designs by me. Designed a good looking ad this past week. Always looking for more stuff like this. This runs full page in a magazine. These guys do some really great auctions.
