We were on the news! Great to work with Summit e-Waste on the e-scooter revitalization project. We we heard Ben & team were looking overseas for circuit board work, and were excited when they gave us a chance. Thanks Ben! It was great attending the Talent & Technology Showcase hosted by Manufacturing Works! Made a lot of great connections; it’s exciting to explore opportunities to collaborate and get involved in more Ohio manufacturing and to show off our sensor datalogging engineering capabilities!

2022 has been an amazing year for us. We have had tremendous growth, and reflecting on the year almost feels like a lifetime. Its amazing to me how much we have engaged in Ohio innovation, from Universities, to startups, and nearly Fortune 500 companies, I do not know what to anticipate for next year. Project highlights include sensor innovations that will produce an automated system to analyze cancer cells, commercializing passive exoskeleton technology using muscle biomimicry to aid those with muscular dystrophy, advanced fluid monitoring systems for micro particle detection to keep wind turbines running, RF sensors to monitor the health of components in the power grid, smart shoe autonomous data collection for training the elite athlete and of course our passive radar technology for locating and identifying drones. We are applying our knowledge in AI and advanced signal processing at the hardware, software, and firmware level to produce autonomous perception systems that enable the future of autonomous sensing.

Amazing! Our device not only withstands up to 500,000 volts, but our Bluetooth circuit board is still communicating with the receiver! I really didn't expect that, and didn't think it would work up to this voltage on our first try. Pretty neat effect of the toroid swinging, at such a high voltage there is a significant force of attraction toward the charge on the metal surfaces of our device.

It is simply amazing to me how rapidly we are growing. A couple weeks ago, it dawned on me, wow, a week is like a month of progress. And I can say for certain, last week was equivalent to months if not years of progress, the door to assist NASA is opening and you better believe we would like to get involved. They say shoot for the stars, but I think it would be nice to hang out on the moon.

Welp we finished a couple prototypes of a new device a couple weeks ago, and I get a message this week that the first thing the customer wants to do with it is strap it to a wooden rod and see how much voltage it can withstand. We didn't blow it up this time, unfortunate lol, next time! lol Shout out to Quality Switch Inc. who has this amazing facility, if you ever want to blow up your new products as well you should really pay them a visit! But on a serious note, they really have an impressive facility.

Next time though I want to see lightning, if the device survives 700 thousand volts, which would be a feat truly lol we will have to crack out that capacitor bank and see how it does against simulated lightning.
