Job Description
BTC Wholesale is looking for a highly motivated merchandiser in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. This individual should have hard work ethic and the ability to work well with others. This individual will work with a team and have the ability to travel out of town and merchandise and/or re-set existing accounts.

We offer a Monday through Friday work week, a competitive salary plus bonus with benefits, and opportunity for advancement.

​Qualifications:

Previous experience in merchandising or sales.
Ability to build rapport with clients
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Ability to handle some over-night travel.

A man with faith in his convictions

Frank D’Amico Sr. came to America from Sicily in 1906. As an Italian immigrant he worked a coal miner in the beginning but knew mining was not his calling. He pursued his dream and opened a few grocery stores in the area of Birmingham, Al. From these stores evolved a distribution company which today is BTC Wholesale Distributors.

Franks’s three sons, Vincent, Anthony, and Frank Jr. joined him and working together grew the business into a thriving company.

Today, BTC Wholesale operates in a 120,000 square foot state of the art facility that is located in Alabaster, Alabama. Our service area and product offerings have grown tremendously, covering five states and carrying over 8,000 products. In the years that we have been in business, much has changed, but we have kept our founder’s philosophy for customer service and caring for others.

In it’s fourth generation of leadership, BTC wholesale has been owned and operated by members of the D’Amico family for over 90 years. Frank D’Amico III currently serves as President of BTC, with three sons Chris, Michael, and David working there as well.
