🚨 Update: Real Offer Based Cat Pricing
We’ve made an important update to how pricing is displayed in Cat DB app.
Previously, the app showed refined values based on assay terms (typically around 93%, 93%, and 90%) and assumed large lots of 400+ catalytic converters. While this worked well for high-volume sellers, many of our users sell converters by the piece and in smaller quantities, requiring sellers to negotiate which can be a hassle.
To make pricing easier to understand and more useful for everyone, we’ve updated the system.
Now, all pricing in the app reflects real buyer-backed offers, tailored for sellers who are not selling on assay.
You can also see which buyers are paying those prices (or higher) by tapping “View All Buyers” in the cart.
This change makes it easier to understand what your converters are actually worth and helps you connect directly with buyers paying competitive prices.
