Systems Administrator Needed (Albuquerque, NM)

Based in the Albuquerque Metro Area, Systems MD has been providing business and network solutions since 2006. Our technicians install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computers and networks for small and medium-sized businesses in New Mexico as well as Texas.

Requirements:
* 4+ years supporting diverse IT environments
* Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Comptia +, Network +, Security +, CISSP, MCSE (2000/2003), or MCTS, MCITP, VMWare Certifications
* Current MCITP/MCSE can substitute for Bachelor's Degree
* Full-time field technical experience.
* Personal qualities required: People Person, Responsible, Professional, and Customer Service Oriented
* Firewall/Router configuration experience (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.)
* Advanced administration and troubleshooting skills for all Microsoft Windows Server products (Server 2016-2008, Exchange 2016-2010, HyperV) and VMWare products (vSphere, vCenter, Horizon)
* System architecture design experience (WAN, LAN, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS)
* Familiarity with standards such as HIPAA, EHR, PCI, and Sarbanes Oxley , a plus .
* Expert desktop support skills for all Microsoft operating systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A strong track record of top-notch customer service.
* Position requires occasional overnight travel.
* Background check required
* Drug test screening
Other helpful criteria:
* Team supervisory experience.
* IT project management experience.
* Basic programming experience, specifically with HTML, MS Access, VB 6.0/.NET, and SQL scripting.
* Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suites.
* Clean cut and professional appearance.
The company requires a Technical Evaluation test to be taken before the interview stage.
