Don’t see these everyday. A 1963 Fender Reverb unit. Unfortunately some of the replacement components are too common these days. Can’t wait to hear this and play some Surf Music!

1970 2x12 Lafayette/univox. No schematics for this particular amp anywhere in the internet (or any where else for that matter). I got it lacking reverb, tremolo, and the second channel... every capacitor was replaced (besides the obvious Ftst caps, all the other caps where oil impregnated, meaning they too leak and fail after 50 years). Original tubes tested well, speakers looked to have been re-conned, reverb tank was fried, caps were bad. 7 hours later this thing is as good as new.

Scored a 2004 Twin Reverb for cheap. Cleaned up and retubed. Ready for a new forever home.

This poor MIDI foot controller had a bad power supply end. Goes to show you, pull the cord out of the device properly (pull the end, not the cord itself). A rewiring of the connector end and bingo, it works again.

Liquid and electronics do not mix well when the equipment is powered on. Even worse.... cat urine! This amp was severely damaged by a house cat. Over 50 electrical parts were shorted out. Unable to locate a new preamp board (Carvin went out of business at the end of last year) we decided to turn this 3 speaker acoustic amp into a 300 watt external speaker cab! Sounds great with a newly installed passive crossover mounted under a new plexiglas panel. This unit is completely reversible in the event an electronics board becomes available.
