We’ve created a quick, simple guide all about the User Portal of SupportSystem. ⁣

This guide was specifically created for the end-users (clients) of your help desk. This video is available for you to share with your Users; allowing them to become familiar with the User Portal. It guides them through the steps to create tickets, check the status of their tickets, view the public knowledge base as well as how to register and manage their user account.⁣

Why send multiple responses to one user when you can combine tickets and send one consolidated reply. Ticket Merge and Link allows everyone to be on the same page (and ticket!)

Merging allows you to combine two or more Tickets so that their threads will all be in one Ticket.

Linking allows you to group tickets together without actually manipulating any Tickets; It just gives you a quick way to access Tickets that may be related in some way.

Automatically snooze overdue tickets with the use of Schedules!

Setting up a schedule lets you specify hours of operation for your help desk to calculate the grace period of your Service Level Agreement (SLA) plans. Now, you can rest assured that during after hours, weekends, or holidays, the SLA timer is snoozed for those non-working hours. This ensures tickets are not being marked overdue because no one was in the (virtual) office while the timer was ticking during non-working hours.

You can set a default Schedule for your help desk, Department specific Schedules, even narrow it down to each SLA plan as they can have their own Schedule. You can make as many schedules as necessary for various business hours, vacation hours, holiday hours and more.
