📬 Quick question for agency owners:

Does your staff know what to do if they receive a suspicious email? Do they know who to call? Is there a process?

For most small agencies, the honest answer is no — and that gap is exactly what hackers count on.

We covered this in our latest blog post, including a simple action plan for what to do if someone clicks something they shouldn't have.

⚠️ Could your team spot a fake email from a carrier?

Phishing scams targeting insurance agencies have gotten remarkably sophisticated. They don't look like spam anymore — they look like routine emails from carriers, compliance providers, or even colleagues.

In Part 2 of our Protect Your Agency series, we break down exactly what these emails look like, the red flags to watch for, and what to do immediately if someone clicks.

This one is worth sharing with your whole team. 👇

📌 Did you catch our latest blog post?

We kicked off a 6-part series called Protect Your Agency — written specifically for small independent insurance agents.

⚠️ Heads Up — Winter Storm & Your Starlink Dish
With up to 32 inches of snow expected in Wisconsin this weekend, we want to give you a heads up about your Starlink service.
Starlink dishes have a built-in snow-melt feature, but heavy, fast-accumulating snowfall like what's forecast can overwhelm it — leading to snow buildup on the dish and potential service outages.
If you lose your Starlink connection during the storm, snow accumulation on the dish may be the cause. Carefully clearing the snow off may resolve the issue and restore your service.
🔹 Please only attempt this if you can do so safely
🔹 Clearing your dish is done at your own risk
🔹 Stay safe out there — no internet connection is worth an injury
We'll be monitoring things on our end. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions. Stay warm, Northeast Wisconsin! ❄️

🔒 Is your insurance agency safe from hackers?

Most small agency owners assume cybercriminals are only going after big corporations. The reality? Independent agencies are actually prime targets — and the reason comes down to the data you handle every day.

Social Security numbers. Financial records. Client home addresses. To a hacker, a small agency's client files are worth a lot — and small offices typically have far fewer defenses than larger companies.

We've been seeing it happen to agencies in our region. That's why we wrote this article — not to scare you, but to make sure you know what you're up against.
