⚠️ One important reminder we always share with riders: never keep your Monimoto Key Fob attached to your motorcycle keys. If the thief gets your keys, they could also get the Key Fob. Instead, keep the it separate and with you at all times, for example:

🔹In your jacket pocket
🔹In your wallet or card holder
🔹Attached to your house keys

Read the full motorcycle recovery story shared by our customer from Essex, UK:

“Got home from work at 10pm. I arrived as I always do, pulled up to my back gate, got off the bike, and unlocked the gate. Turned around and I was assaulted and pushed over by the bike thief, who got on my bike and rode off!

Unfortunately, my phone was in a phone holder on the handlebars, so not only did they have my bike, but also a set of keys, my Monimoto fob, and my phone with the Monimoto app installed. So I had no way of accessing the phone app and tracking my bike.

After a sleepless night, I went to the phone shop and had a duplicate SIM card produced and the phone blocked, but I still didn’t have a working Monimoto app, as the app on my old phone, which I was now having to re-use, was disabled when the new phone was set up. But I contacted Monimoto via email and told them the circumstances of my unfortunate events, and they graciously contacted me with the bike’s current Monimoto position.

I had already called the police at the time of the theft. I called 999, gave the coordinator the location, and in the meantime I was already heading to the local police station, where they met me and we went to the location provided, found, and recovered my bike!

I cannot thank Monimoto enough for their assistance and fantastic product, which reunited me with my bike.

A few things I have learnt: don’t get off my bike and leave it running, even only a couple of feet away; don’t attach my phone to my bike ever again; also, don’t have the fob on the bike’s key ring. Keep it separate from the keys but in my possession.

Turns out that the Monimoto tracker is the best item I have purchased for my bike, or I probably would never have seen it again!”

Wi-Fi location is coming to Monimoto 9! 🛜 All Monimoto 9 users will automatically receive this feature after updating the Monimoto app.

When GPS signal is weak or unavailable, like in underground parking, the tracker can use nearby Wi-Fi networks to improve location accuracy. Even 2–3 nearby access points can help pinpoint the vehicle more precisely, including on lower parking levels. Smarter tracking, same Monimoto simplicity. 🔒

Monimoto, UAB is implementing a project whose main goal is to increase competitiveness and internationalization. During the project implementation, Monimoto, UAB will participate in international exhibitions and certify the company's products. These activities will allow the company to increase the visibility and attractiveness of its products in export markets and increase export revenue. The total value of the project is €91072.22, of which €45536.11 is allocated from the European Union Regional Development Fund. The project started on April 23, 2024, and will be implemented until April 30, 2026.

We’re very happy this story had a good ending. 🔒 One of our customers from Athens, Greece recently shared their experience with us, and we wanted to post it exactly as they told it:

“On January 21, 2026, my car was stolen right outside my house. It was a night with severe storms and flooding in my area. My car is a Toyota Yaris Cross, a vehicle that is very popular among thieves. The car only had the basic factory alarm system - just a siren sound in case of intrusion. With such bad weather, I never heard it.

The thieves must have entered the car as if they had the key. There were no signs of forced entry. Maybe they cloned or intercepted my key signal.

Inside the car, I had a hidden Monimoto 7 tracker. When I woke up in the morning, I saw a notification from the app saying that the car had moved. At first, I ignored it because I thought something like this could never happen to me. But when I went outside, my car was gone.

I opened the Toyota app and saw that the last location was only two blocks away from my home. I went there with a friend, but of course the car was not there anymore. That’s where the thieves had stopped and removed the Toyota tracking system.

They had also caused several damages inside the car because they were probably searching for another tracker.

Then I checked the Monimoto app again and saw that the car was parked at an address very far away from me - with an exact location. I went there with a friend and found the car exactly where the tracker said it would be. Locked and abandoned.
The police, whom I had already contacted, were waiting there to verify that I was the owner.

My insurance repaired the damages, and I was just happy that the tracker saved my car. Now I’m thinking about installing another one. I’m considering the Monimoto 9. Of course, I read everywhere that thieves now use jammers against trackers and sometimes manage to find or confuse them. I was lucky. I didn’t even hear the tracker notification because I was asleep. The car was stolen at 2:30 AM, and I recovered it at 9:30 AM. They had parked it there temporarily to see if anyone would come looking for it.

After my theft, many of my friends heard my story and went out and bought the Monimoto 9.”

“Thieves stole my Yamaha R7 by cutting the ignition lock and turning the cylinder. Luckily, I had my Monimoto tucked deep inside the bike. It alerted me while I was at work, and I was actively working with the police while they chased it. I watched the location update every few seconds until it was recovered with no additional damage. Three weeks later, it was stolen again by who we believe were the same thieves, and this time I was able to track it down myself. Monimoto is deff worth it.”
