From Dream to Reality: Congratulations, Becky Parrish!
In 2022, Becky Parrish attended The Run for a Million (TRFAM) with her family to watch some of the most outstanding reining horse competitors in the industry. Sitting in the stands at the South Point in Las Vegas, she watched the Rookie class and told herself, "One day, I'm going to compete here." This summer, that dream became a reality.
TRFAM is one of the most prestigious events in the reining horse industry, featuring an exceptionally competitive qualification process. To earn a spot in Las Vegas, competitors must first place in the Top 5 at a local affiliate event, then advance through the Semi-Finals, where only the Top 20 exhibitors qualify. In her very first attempt, Becky successfully navigated the process, advancing through a Semi-Final field of 195 competitors to earn her place on one of the sport's biggest stages.
Alongside her horse, Paris, Becky spent months preparing for the opportunity. Competing under the bright lights of the South Point arena was a moment she will never forget, and a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and hard work that helped her achieve a goal she once only imagined.
While qualifying for and competing at TRFAM was an incredible accomplishment, Becky says one of the most meaningful parts of the experience was the support she received from her Turnkey family. Knowing that so many coworkers took time out of their busy schedules to watch, cheer for, and support her during her run meant more than she can put into words. Their encouragement made an already special achievement even more memorable and serves as a reflection of the strong relationships and sense of community that make Turnkey such a unique place to work. We are proud to celebrate Becky for this outstanding accomplishment and for showing us all what can happen when determination, hard work, and a dream come together.
