A $20,000 camera setup sounds amazing, but more gear does not always mean a better workflow. 👀
Benji traded his expensive setup for two cameras and Ecamm, giving him a simpler way to create both vertical and horizontal content.
That is the real win. A setup that is easier to manage can help you create more consistently, move faster, and spend less time worrying about the technology.
The best setup is not always the most expensive one. It is the one that helps you bring your ideas to life without getting in your way. 🎥
Would you choose a high end camera setup or a simpler workflow that lets you create more?

Everyone has a course in them.

Seriously.

There’s something you know today that someone else is still trying to figure out.

Maybe it’s something you’ve spent years mastering. Maybe it’s a process you developed through trial and error. Or maybe it’s something that feels so natural to you that you’ve forgotten just how valuable it could be to someone else.

You don’t have to be the world’s leading expert.

You just have to be willing to share what you know. 💡

That’s what this workshop is about.

On August 27–28, Alec Johnson is joining us for a FREE 2-day live workshop to help you take that knowledge out of your head and turn it into a course you can actually share with the world.

Because what you know has value.

Now let’s turn it into something. 🎥✨

How long have you been saying, “I really need to make that course…”? 👀

A few weeks? A few months? Maybe a few YEARS? 😅

Here’s the thing: the knowledge probably isn’t what’s holding you back. You know what you want to teach. You know who you can help.

At some point, you just have to stop planning and start making it.

That’s exactly what we’re doing with Alec Johnson during our FREE 2-Day Course Creation Workshop on August 27–28.

We’re going from the idea in your head → to an actual course outline → to your recording setup → to RECORDING the lesson.

No waiting for the perfect gear.
No endlessly tweaking.
No “I’ll start next month.”

Let’s finally get this thing MADE. 🎥🙌

You probably don’t need another course about how to make a course. 😅

You need to actually MAKE IT.

That idea sitting in your Notes app…
That outline you started six months ago…
That course you keep saying you’ll record “when you have time”…

It’s time. 👀

On August 27–28, Alec Johnson is joining us for a FREE 2-day workshop designed to take you from idea → outline → setup → actually recording your lesson.

And we’re keeping it simple.

No fancy studio. No endless tweaking. No waiting until everything is perfect.

Just a practical process to help you take what you already know and finally turn it into something you can teach.

🎥 Two days. Live. Completely free.

What’s the secret to making your live stream look more professional? It might be simpler than you think. 🎥
Start with three small improvements:
💡 Use better lighting. Position a soft light in front of you so your face is clear and evenly lit.
🧹 Clean up your space. You don’t need an elaborate studio just remove distractions and be intentional about what appears in the frame.
✨ Clean your camera lens. It takes seconds, but it can instantly make your image look clearer and sharper.
When it comes to your setup, less is often more. A clean frame, good lighting, and a few intentional choices can make a big difference.
What’s one simple change that improved your stream? And if you have a question for a future Ecamm Question of the Day, leave it below! 👇

Okay, let’s talk about a few of my favorite streaming accessories right now. 🎥
These are the tools that have been working really well for me and making my setup feel a whole lot easier.
The Stream Deck XL helps me control everything without losing my flow.
My SM7B keeps my audio sounding clean and consistent.
The Prompter helps me stay on track while still looking directly at the camera.
The Tail 2 gives me the freedom to move around and try different shots.
The Verge Max keeps me looking bright and clear on camera.
And bringing it all together is my MacBook running . 🧡
You definitely do not need a ton of gear to create great content. But finding the right tools for your workflow can make showing up and creating feel so much easier.

Is live streaming still worth it in 2026? Our answer: absolutely. 🎥
Live video gives creators, businesses, and communities something highly polished content can’t always replicate: real-time connection. It creates space for genuine conversations, immediate feedback, deeper engagement, and memorable shared experiences.
And one live stream can go far beyond the broadcast itself. Repurpose it into short-form clips, educational videos, podcasts, social posts, and more giving one production session a much longer life.
What do you think: Is live streaming still worth it in 2026?

Pat Flynn’s Card Party is a great example of how live video can expand an already amazing experience. 🔥
Turning an in person event into a live online experience gives more people the opportunity to participate, even if they cannot be in the room. It also creates new ways for the community to interact and keeps the energy of the event going beyond the physical space.
The real opportunity is not choosing between an in person event and an online event. It is finding creative ways for the two experiences to work together.
With the right approach, one event can reach more people, create more content, and build an even stronger community. 🎥
How could you bring your next event or community experience online?
