As summer winds down, we're wishing a bittersweet farewell to our seasonal help Otto Anglemyer, today as he heads off to UW-Madison to study Biology.
Over the past few months, Otto became an important part of the team, helping with a lot of the hands-on work that keeps our network running smoothly. From digging and preparing sites for fiber work to removing pedestals, clearing areas for construction, and helping with maintenance around our facilities, his work was often physical and behind the scenes, but it made a real difference.
When asked about his experience and what he learned, Otto said he got better at navigating the street names and gained a much better understanding of fiber Internet and our service area. "I don't know if everyone knows just how far Amherst's network reaches. I hadn't realized they serve all the way down to Coloma or over to Iola and Waupaca to the east."
Thanks for a great summer and best wishes at school, Otto! We're grateful for the hard work and positive attitude you brought every day. Even though we'll miss having you around, we're excited to see where the next chapter takes you!
