Dunne Communications is adding to our team. We have immediate need for a tower climber / Installer
Dunne Communications, Inc. a leader in the Wireless Communications field serving Montana for over 35 years is searching for a Tower Climber-Telecom installer to join our team.
Job Description includes but not limited to.
• Install and maintenance of equipment on various types of Communications towers or structures.
• Installation of both fixed and mobile Two-Way radio equipment, Point to Point Microwave radio and other Wireless Communication equipment.
• Configuration, turn up and testing of the above equipment in the field.
Applicant must be reliable and able to work long days with travel to customer job sites throughout Montana and surrounding area including overnight stays. Must be organized and able to complete given tasks and associated paperwork. Ability to work as part of a team is a must. Applicant must be able to relocate to the Anaconda MT. area.
Requirements.
• Ability to be certified in Tower climbing and Rescue.
• Ability to work in manner that creates a safe environment for climber and others.
• Job requires climbing towers and other structures to 200’ or more above ground.
• Job requires climber to work in all weather conditions in a safe manner.
• Ability to safely perform associated tasks including rigging and operation of tools and equipment used during tower installs.
• Installation of indoor communications equipment and pulling various types of cable.
• Job may require working with or around 12, 24 and 48 vdc power systems.
• Applicant must have a strong Mechanical background.
• Ability to learn to use and understand test equipment used in the installation of telecom antennas and radios.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to safely climb ladders, work at elevated heights and on roof tops.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well as a team member.
• Applicant must be motivated and able to pass a drug test.
Job Type: Full-time, minimum 40 hours/ week + overtime available.
Must have a Driver’s License and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay: Based on experience and includes 401 K
