ADASTEC is delighted to join ITS America 2026 in Detroit from June 9–12, one of the leading gatherings for transportation technology and intelligent mobility.

The ADASTEC team will be on-site throughout the event. Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK, Automated by ADASTEC, Demonstrated in Live Apron Traffic at İGA Istanbul Airport with Turkish Airlines

At İGA Istanbul Airport, one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs, Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK, automated by ADASTEC, was demonstrated in live apron traffic under real airside operating conditions with Turkish Airlines, İGA Istanbul Airport and Karsan.

The demonstration brought together the teams of Karsan, Turkish Airlines, İGA Istanbul Airport and ADASTEC, with the participation of senior representatives.

Designed around real Turkish Airlines airside workflows, the demonstration validated automated mobility applications including crew transportation, shift mobility and apron-area operational flows in one of aviation’s most safety-critical environments.

From mixed apron traffic to automated lane changes, tunnel passage and precise navigation across a 9 km airside route, the demonstration highlighted the capability of SAE Level-4 automated driving technology in real airport operating conditions.

Mr. Atalay Taşkoparan, Chief Commercial Officer, and Mr. Özgür İpek, EMEA Operations Director, will be attending the event and engaging in conversations around the future of automated public transportation and scalable SAE Level-4 operations.

Dr. Ali Peker, CEO of ADASTEC, took the stage at IEEE MOST 2026 to present ADASTEC’s approved paper:

“A Reproducible, Data-Driven Framework for Safety and Functionality Verification of Level-4 Automated Buses Through Real-World Testing.”

The paper focused on safety and functionality verification methodologies for Level-4 automated public transportation systems through real-world operational validation.

During the presentation, Dr. Ali showcased ADASTEC’s real-world safety validation and verification approach developed through ongoing operational deployments and extensive testing activities. The session highlighted how structured test scenarios, ODD validation processes, edge-case evaluations, dummy vehicle interactions, and functionality verification methodologies are used to assess system behavior across different operational environments.

The presentation also provided a closer look at how real-world operational data and controlled testing environments contribute to building scalable, reliable, and deployment-ready automated public transportation systems.

ADASTEC provides its SAE Level-4 automated driving software platform for MAN Truck & Bus SE ’s electric city bus as part of the MINGA project

The collaboration brings together MAN’s Lion’s City 12 E bus with ADASTEC’s automated driving software platform and advanced sensor suite, enabling automated operations in real-world public transport environments. The vehicle is planned to operate on a designated line in the city of Munich , demonstrating how automated bus systems can be integrated into active public transport services.

With ongoing testing and validation activities, the project supports preparation for deployment within Munich’s public transport network, marking a step toward integrating automated bus operations into existing transit systems.

ADASTEC at ATİAD Turkish-German Economic Day

Atalay Taskoparan, CCO & Co-Founder of ADASTEC, took the stage at the ATİAD Turkish-German Economic Day in Düsseldorf and participated as a panelist in the session “Mobility 4.0 – Towards a Sustainable Ecosystem.”

During the session, Mr. Taskoparan shared how ADASTEC’s SAE Level-4 automated driving software platform, flowride.ai, is deployed in real-world public transportation, highlighting active, passenger-carrying operations from Europe to the United States, along with key lessons learned on regulatory alignment, mixed traffic operations, and building reliable, scalable systems.
