Technology, Designed In

Great technology should not compete with great architecture.

We don't believe every project needs to default to a pair of basic in-ceiling speakers. Sometimes the best solution is the one you barely notice.

From custom speakers designed to fit between the railings of a fence, to architectural in-wall speakers and a subwoofer integrated seamlessly into a porch base, to a custom speaker enclosure built into a planter on a beautiful oceanfront deck, we work with a range of manufacturers and design solutions to make technology feel like part of the home.

The difference is working with a technology consultant early in the design process, someone who can collaborate with the architect, interior designer, builder, and landscape team to make technology complement the home rather than become an eyesore.

As we continue celebrating our 20th anniversary, we are highlighting another project that reflects what we value most in our work: long-term partnerships and thoughtful ex*****on.

In Timonium, Maryland, this residence came together through a collaborative process with and , where architecture, construction, and technology were considered as one unified system from the beginning.

Rather than introducing technology as an addition, it was woven into the architecture itself. Lighting by Ketra responds naturally to the rhythm of the day, while concealed systems, including a motorized TV lift and integrated controls, remain completely secondary to the experience of the home. The result is a space where performance is felt, not seen.

What stands out most about projects like this is not any single feature, but the alignment of the entire team. When designers, builders, and specialists work with shared intent, the outcome is a home that feels resolved, calm, and enduring.

We are grateful for the continued trust of partners who approach their work with the same level of care and discipline. These collaborations have shaped our last 20 years and continue to define where we are going next.

A subwoofer doesn’t have to live as a black box in the room.

With thoughtful detailing, a skilled cabinet maker, and a clean install, we integrated this Sub directly into the cabinetry. Hidden in the base with a toe-kick cutout, the sound moves freely while the hardware disappears.
