No cybersecurity background.
No perfect resume.

Just a decision to learn something new and commit to the process.

Fast forward, Kris has moved from no experience, to Help Desk, and then onto a Linux team.

We share stories like this because a lot of people think they’re too late, too old, or don’t have the right background to get into tech. The truth is that most people who make it started exactly where you are right now.

The goal isn’t to become an expert overnight. The goal is to keep learning, keep building skills, and keep taking the next opportunity when it comes.
