Think of the most important piece of paperwork that you have:
✅Probably locked in a safe
✅Locked in a building
Now think of the most important digital file you have:
✅ Probably on your computer, secured behind a password
✅ Locked in a building
Both seem secure, right? Physically, yes. But digitally???
❎ If that computer is hooked to the Internet, the locked building doesn't matter. If a hacker can access your computer by running software to guess your password, the other security is lost.
🛡 Go a step further and add MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). MFA adds multiple, unique authentication methods to verify a user's identity at login.
MFA says, OK you entered your password...now prove it's you elsewhere (phone SMS code, phone call, biometric check, authorization code via app, etc.).
A hacker may have your password cracked from the other side of the world. However, they're unlikely to also have access to your phone as well.
Layers of security keep your data more secure. If you need MFA on your devices, contact us today and we'll get you setup!
