“THE BIRGE SURGE.”
We’ve all heard it before. But calling what Zack Birge has accomplished a surge doesn’t tell the whole story.
A surge happens suddenly. This didn’t.
This was years of early mornings, long days, tough losses, close calls, sacrifice, determination, and refusing to quit.
Zack Birge didn’t suddenly arrive. He’s been here. He’s earned his place as a staple in this sport, one cast, one tournament, and one hard-fought season at a time.
This wasn’t luck.
This wasn’t fortunate timing.
This was earned.
And through it all, there were prayers, faith, and the belief that God’s timing has a purpose. Today, some of those prayers were answered. Hard work opened the door, faith carried him through it, and God’s blessings made a lifelong dream a reality.
What was once prayed for, hoped for, and dreamed about is now an accomplishment that can never be taken away.
