The FCC is currently reviewing proposed regulations that could significantly impact companies using offshore customer service and contact center operations.

The proposal includes stricter rules around:
• Offshore call center disclosure requirements
• Handling of sensitive customer data
• Language proficiency standards
• Restrictions involving foreign adversary nations
• Support involving sensitive information may be restricted to US based contact centers
