In honor of Earth Day, IT Cadre is proudly continuing our support for Ocean Research Project (ORP) in their mission to discover ocean mysteries, observe humanity's influence, and inspire change. ORP's 2026 expedition is a "Non-Stop Singlehanded Circumnavigation of the Arctic Circle", which can be followed via their live tracker once the expedition begins in June.

IT Cadre was proud to present this year's Innovation Award at the LCPS Regional Science & Engineering Fair to two exceptional students, Catherine Veselovskiy and Avighna Wuthoo. Inspired by the self-cleaning surface of a lotus leaf, their project engineered microscopic textures that help rainwater wash solar panels automatically. No chemicals, no coatings, just biomimicry. Their design reduced panel dirt buildup by over 21%. This is exactly the kind of bold, practical thinking our Innovation Award exists to celebrate. Congratulations to our winners!

IT Cadre is pleased to announce Lawrence “Larry” Creevy, retired Rear Admiral, USN, is supporting IT Cadre as a Strategic Advisor. Admiral Creevy brings over three decades of experience in the U.S. Navy and experience leading large programs and strategic development in the private sector. Over his 32-year career in the U.S. Navy, Admiral Creevy rose to Deputy Commander for Surface Warfare at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA 21), where he directed modernization, maintenance, and readiness programs for the U.S. Navy's surface fleet. Admiral Creevy’s depth of experience leading complex operations and driving mission-critical outcomes directly supports our mission to help organization’s achieve success through our Visualization Engineering® methodology.

IT Cadre is proud to have sponsored UMD Basketball’s Military Caregiver Appreciation Game, where military hero Captain Luis Avila sang the national anthem accompanied by his wife and caregiver Claudia Avila. The strength and resilience of Claudia and Captain Avila echoed throughout the arena and inspired us all.

It was a privilege to honor Military Caregivers, whose unsung sacrifices enable the care and advocation of our wounded, ill or injured military heroes. Thank you to the University of Maryland for giving us all an opportunity to recognize the sacrifices made by our Military Caregivers.
