We are celebrating our 35th year in business this year!
I started in this business in 1987 with two friends of mine as installation subcontractors. We were told there was more money in it than selling drugs, you just didn’t get arrested, but most of the time we didn’t get paid either. 🥺
Two years later in 1989, MC Communications was born. We started the company with a MasterCard, a jar peanut butter and a couple of broken down pick up trucks. Through hard work and dedication, the business began to grow. The two guys I started with eventually went their own way, then I began to put everything I had into making this thing called a company work. They have come and gone a few times over the years. Since, we have survived the good times, bad times, lawsuits, major liability damages, breakdowns, theft, and just about anything else you can think of, but still we hung on through sheer grit. Our worst year we produced about $35k in revenues, our best in the millions. Different companies have tried to take us over, close friends have turned their backs on us or tried to steal the contracts we have worked so hard for. Some have even created the narrative, it was their company that they had started. But I will say, we have always had an employee base that is dedicated and of strong work ethic. Without these people, MC Communications would’ve folded years back. We are very grateful to our employees and take care of them to the best of our ability like they were family. We have learned the hard way, people need to be treated with honor and respect in order to deliver those values back to the company. We are also very grateful for the companies that put their faith and trust in us to do the work that keeps their business thriving. Whether it’s customers or employees, it has to be a win-win for everyone involved or we’re just not interested in playing the game. As a firm believer in “what goes around comes around’ we are not afraid to take that first positive step to begin the cycle. Time and time again we have been rewarded tenfold from what we have put out there. Reputation is a huge part of being successful in anything. I’ve heard it said, “it takes a lifetime to build it and 10 seconds to ruin“ credit: Warren Buffett. We strive to be better today than we were yesterday, and will continue to nurture those values. Thanks again to everyone who has ever worked for us for any period of time, and those still with us today! Without these men and women, we would be nothing. Thanks to all the customers we have ever had, those we still do and those in our future. We are forever at your service.
Respectfully
