Hey Printing Family, just wanted to update you all for those looking for new printers.
HP and Epson are actively and aggressively creating printers and updating printer firmware to 100% stop you from using anything but their ink supply. So be sure you are okay with using their costly ink.

Brother as far as I can tell right now is not actively forbidding customers from using generic inks. Although it maybe their policy that you will void any warranty.

As always, read reviews so you stay away from junk generic ink. The cheapest is not always the best!

Be careful browsing Facebook. I clicked on something off to the right because they made it look like a friend request with many friends in common. When I clicked on it my laptop screen went crazy with popups and crazy sounds and messages. Ignore it all. Don’t call whatever phone number they have for you. Simply close all your browsers (delete browser history as an additional cleanup step) and scan your computer with your virus program. It’s nothing but an attempt to have you call the phone number and get scammed.
