Hi, I’m Lark (she & they). After years of trying to fit myself into other people’s businesses, being diagnosed with ADHD at age 28, becoming a UX Designer, but still always feeling like I was doing something other than what I *really* wanted to be doing… I started Lark About Design Co. in 2024! It’s the best, because I made my own dream job.

We are a tiny design + marketing agency for tiny businesses & nonprofits. A proudly q***r-owned, living wage certified business, our focus is on offering right-sized services for emerging and historically underserved businesses... We build websites, manage marketing, do branding and graphic design, strategy coaching.... we even have an AI-Free print shop! I expanded from a solo operation to building a tiny team earlier this year (Jenny & Tina are amazing!)

Our highest goal is empowering folks not just with *technically* awesome marketing & design to succeed, but also the confidence to actually go for it. I’m so proud to say that we’re in our third year of business and have now served more than 50 businesses, 95% of which were woman-, q***r-, neurodivergent- or BIPOC-owned/led.

When I’m not doing *all that* - you can usually find me chin deep in a cold creek, on a paddleboard with my dog, or on stage with my Hobbit band (yes, really!)

Lark Frazier is the tiny biz design & creative marketing queen at Lark About Design Co. by brunch and hobbit extraordinaire by second breakfast of her band, Holler & Crow. With her creative, community-minded approach to marketing, she has grown her music from a hobby to a solid income stream. Reaching over a million impressions annually, grant supported, and consistently gigging (40+ gigs independently booked in 2026) Lark is proud to have grown a project that supports not only her own creative endeavors, but 4 additional musicians.

Jenny Walls is the lore-master in residence of Holler & Crow and business boss at Lark About Design Co.. She's also a private music teacher and performer. She brings the joy & the brains to everything she does, and is responsible for many of the genius (if not slightly unhinged and Veggie-related) social media marketing behind Holler & Crow.

The point of marketing is create sustainability in your business or non-profit. So you can live the life you love outside of your job, too.
