She’s all set. University of Virginia has a new contender 🥊.
The hardest thing we ever felt we had to do is dropping our only baby girl off at college. I am so unbelievably proud of her. But I didn’t know it would sting as bad, as I feel a literal piece of myself is somewhere else away from my immediate embrace. I’m 44, so half of my life I have to say is my awakened years, and in that time I’ve had many great ups and downs, triumphs and heartaches, and mind you 2 wars while in the Navy. Through all of that, God giving me the opportunity to love and raise My daughter has been the most proudest task and journey above all, but also felt the worst to let her go into the world I’ve desperately have been protecting her from. But to know a piece of myself, my love, my lessons and determination is out there making waves. I know she’s ready and I respect the hell out of her. There’s something so different about a dad and daughter. She’s taught me so much. And she’ll always be my baby girl. I am so excited to see this new chapter in her life. Cheers to you my only precious daughter. May her focus stay on you Jesus first and foremost,
Please keep her focus on you. I pray for her heart, health, and grit. I pray for her laughter on hard days. I pray for her relationships. I pray for her safety. I pray for her joy and the joy she will bring to others in your name. I pray for her comfort in your ever loving embrace Jesus. In your mighty name Amen. Thank you baby for all your help, love, fun and joy. Do daddy proud love! Go Hoos!
